What happened to stepping stone planters?
Comments (4)I'm glad someone brought up the paver planters again. I don't know where it went either. I read the paver post last night and am wondering if I can do something similar to make square raised beds on one of our downtown flower beds that has terrible terrible soil. We (the garden club) agreed to do a bed honoring the anniversary of a local group and that would be the best place. They would like it loosely based on their anniversary logo so that means square. I'm thinking 2 feet on each side and six inches high, four of them. If I can't find 2 foot long pieces, I'm imagining I could add a reinforcement to the sides where the seam is, maybe even mosaic it! I would have to make them in place, but maybe my dh and my mosaic buddy would help me. I am talking May here, next thing I'm doing today is shoveling snow. But the group wants to know where the garden will be by next week, so I have to think it through now. Kathy...See MoreWhat Happened Here? - Boot Agent Message
Comments (2)My son found a Dell BIOS upgrade CD for this laptop Found as in lying about the house all the time or found from a friend? I ask because if this is a CD that came with the computer it might be fair to say the BIOS is not the latest available. He possibly flashed the same BIOS but cured any instructions that may have been corrupt. Did you or your son notice any beeps other than the normal POST beep during any startup attempt? Flashing the BIOS is not a task for the faint of heart, a slight hiccup and the motherboard is scrap material. I added that sentence in case others feel they might like to try this. Flashing the BIOS needs to be done only when there is a real reason to do so. In this case there was a good reason, congrats to your son This is where I would use one of Mikie's favourite tools - the event viewer. Take a long serious look back through there for clues. Comments (7)I use Outlook Express, and was wondering what kind of a message, if any, does a sender get when I have put their email address on the "Blocked Sender" list? If you would like to do a test, you could block me, and I could try emailing you and then post here if I get an email from the 'postmaster' or whatever saying my email was undeliverable. Just post here, or drop me an email, if you would like for me to do a test with you. I would then email you privately, and not via GW as sometimes GW email is not reliable. I'd post here once I had emailed you, and also post if/when I got an email saying it was undeliverable....or not LMK...Sue...See MoreWhat I have learned from message boards & e-mails ;)
Comments (16)Oh, I laughed out loud. I swear I've gotten every e-mail mentioned. One day I flushed the toilet while in a short nightgown, and I felt a drop of water hit my leg. So I did throw away my toothbrush and I always have a cover on it now (not the one I threw away! a new one). Thanks for posting this, it made my night. (Oh, and I had my hand on the mouse, too.)...See Morebleusblue2
