Did anyone watch the 2 night special about Jeffery Epstein?

I'm not sure if it was just 2 nights or not since I watched the 4th episode today. (DVR). What exactly did that man do to make all his money? He was spending a ton but I don't see where it was coming in? Such a sleaze bag.

What is wrong with people and their sex drive?

Why haven't they arrested all the others involved? It really gets to me about Trump & Clinton being his friend, were they a part of all this too?

Trump was indeed his friend. They were photographed together many times. In 1992 they were photographed at Mar-a-Lago at one of the parties. In 2002 Trump told New York Magazine “I’ve known Jeff for fifteen years. Terrific guy. He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side. No doubt about it—Jeffrey enjoys his social life.” It wasn't until 2007 that they had the falling out over the teenage girl.

Trump was not his friend. Epstein was once a member at the Mar-a-Lago Resort, but Trump kicked him out for harassing a young girl, and had nothing to do with thereafter. That happened many years ago.

My DH was watching and I finally got sucked in for the last few episodes -- so I didn't watch all the lead-ups. One thing that occurred to me . . . until recently, and for the last 32 years, I lived in a small resort town. We had one grocery store, except for a glorious 2-year period with a real supermarket, with specialty foods -- it closed. So if my one store didn't carry an ingredient, or was out, I faced a 40 minute trip to find it, or change my menu -- which in reality, is what I did. For out-of-the-ordinary ingredients, I just had to plan ahead -- for my out of town shopping trips. Harissa -- not a chance! I wonder how many other fans live in areas where Jeffrey's exotic ingredients would be difficult to obtain. Incidentally, I'm now in a town with 4 (count 'em!!) supermarkets, the smallest of which is larger than my former one!! Oh, my!!!

i strongly agree with virgil about the real work done on these shoes i have to say, i really hope they change hgtv shows. i know theres a thread somewhere on here all about hgtv but im sick and done with the fake happy couples who happen to mysteriously have ginormous amounts of money to flip and renovate homes into ugly houses for the fools who are on the show its the same s*it all over and over day after day, just different couples doing the same decorating and "designing" when we know all the TRUE work is done by engineers, architects, contractors, plumbers, electricians, handymen, house stagers and interior designers who work with them. you know....the little people

A related item i found yesterday: If any of you recognize the name William Safire, you'll remember him as a self-educated expert in the English language, words and word usage. For many years he had a column On Language in the NY Times. One position he held (that I won't necessarily forgive him for) was as a speech writer during the Nixon administration. Among his many accomplishments, he created the memorable phrase "nattering nabobs of negativism" that Agnew used to attack critics. Not an honorable task but a great phrase all the same. Back to the moon, Safire wrote a brief statement for Nixon to read to the press IN THE EVENT he needed to announce that the lunar lander was stranded and unable to return its two astronauts to Earth. Here's an article about it from the Washington Post and a copy of the speech. For me, the first sentence is an unbelievable creation of a genius, simple and very moving. The rest is pretty special too. I hope you like it. Safire's speech for Nixon, just in case needed.

There were a couple that I was glad didn't make it through, but no one I was particularly rooting for. Drake Millegan is still my #1 favorite, with Chapel Hart 2nd in line. I've got a feeling they will probably win the whole thing, though. They've already stirred up a lot of interest. I saw on Facebook that they've been invited to sing on the Grand Ol' Opry, and with a chance like that, they don't need the AGT win. Rusty

I saw the Netflix documentary. It said he was an investment genius. He invested other people's money. The last line in the documentary from one of the victims rings soo hard for me. Epstein was one minor cog in a HUGE network of sickos who abuse and traffic females. The others have not been hunted down, caught nor named. THAT is the bigger tragedy. And it is FRIGHTENING how powerful these creeps are!!! Who are they--well who killed him? Start knocking on the doors of Clinton and see where it takes you...It would be nice if they got Maxwell to lead the way--she has to know where the police should start!!

Do you mean the. Netflix series? I watched that. I felt like I needed a shower afterwards. So disgusting. It certainly seems like Trump was his buddy along with a lot of other high powered predator types, including Bill Clinton. The list is long and I bet more names will come out during the trial of Ghislaine Maxwell. I do not believe for a minute that Epstein committed suicide. The prison was incredibly poorly run and corrupt. It would have been easy for the right person to get in there and murder him.

Epstein’s wealth came from numerous sources – his ability to swindle himself into Wall Street, his involvement in illegal Ponzi schemes, and, allegedly, the outright stealing of absurd amounts of money, chief amongst them.

The parents of these young girls were not doing their job. They were poor, druggies some homeless, and just didn't care about their children. That is why Jeffery went after them. They were a hopeless bunch. I did watch the Netflix series but it was on the Lifetime movie channel the past few days.

Let's also not forget that Epstein and a woman who worked for him allegedly procured a 13 year old girl and allegedly were there in the room when Trump allegedly violently raped her. Epstein was reportedly angry afterwards, not about Trump raping the 13 year old, but because he felt he should have been first.

Yes, Prince Andrew was also accused, Nothing about Trump raping anyone. I'm not surprised. Sometimes I just hate these high powered rich people!!!! Law enforcement, judges & Lawyers have their fingers in the pie also. Their day is coming. (not soon enough)
