The living room rug is to large for the sun room but I could use one of the other options (in the larger size) in the living room. How small can an area rug be? I thought the feet of all furniture are suppose to be on an area rug. Is it ok to have a small area rug in a large room? My living room is something like 20'x14" so I thought I would need at least a 9x12 or 10ft round for furniture placement. The round medallian rug only comes in a 6' or 8' round so I am not sure if the scale would work but the colors do and I could buy it in a large rectange tho. thanks for the ideas:) Should I treat the floor like one large room and use two matching area rugs in different sizes or even maybe shapes?

#1 is almost the same in size and shape of the table you already have, though the finish is different. It's no wonder you like it. #3 is too slight in scale to compete with the size of your various sofas and loveseats. I would size it to serve those sitting on the sectional only, not the chair. Make a simple template out of newspaper for sizes you consider. Measure out 18 inches of legroom from the seat front on both sides of the L of the sectional. Do not go past the start of the sofa arm in length. You may find a rectangle or oval works best, or round or square. I would look for a table with an airy or leggy base rather than a solid base, considering the size of your room. A glass top would let your rug be seen. Front feet of your chair & sofa should be on the rug. If you pull it out more you will see more of the central rug pattern too. Try to plan for layered lighting by adding floor lamps or table lamps. Overhead lighting only is not flattering to people, even on dimmers. A round table with a table lamp would work between the sofa and chair, especially if the chair will remain angled. If you choose a floor lamp, consider a C table for the chair person. That's where I'm struggling, it's hard for us to do everything at once so we will probably have to replace one thing at a time...As much as I would love to do it all now lol. It is a work in progress but we are trying to at least have a plan so we know what we will get when we can get it. I'm not not good at this. The coffee table looks a little worse in person because it is really old and it doesn't while up well. My daughter does have a habit of doing art, eating snacks and spilling apple juice and you can tell and it's pretty noticeable as much as we try to scrub it lol
