Luxaire 4 red flashes error
Comments (3)Continuity is confusing to most, especially with a digital meter. With power on and calling for heat, put leads of meter on each terminal of limit switches (both sides), and the one that is open will read 24v's. Look for all limits, operating, rollouts (alot of times two), venter,..... Of course, many take the wires off and jump together, testing that way...See MoreDealing with designer + draftperson + errors
Comments (19)The building department requirements are what I would expect so the drafter appears to not only be unfamiliar with these requirements but also did not read the list of requirements available from the town. The missing structural info is odd from a structural engineer but it would not be the drafter's fault. When a bedroom is added smoke and CO detector plans are normally required to be submitted so they can be reviewed by the fire service rather than being reviewedd on site. I don't understand the trail of responsibility or the involvement of the designer or architect but I would have been surprised if a drafter had submitted a better set of documents for a permit without some help. I would have asked the builder or the architect to oversee or at least review the documents before they were submitted. The cost issue gets hung up in what the contract specifically said about time and professional supervision and the person's professed professional experience and capacity. I don't blame you for hoping for better professional service but I'm not sure you should have expected it. On the bright side, many building plan reviewers would have returned the submission after several weeks without providing such complete revision instructions and that may have saved you weeks. Also, using a drafter instead of an architect or professional designer probably saved you many times more than what you could have saved working on the project so things may yet work out....See MoreDo hardware pulls have to be consistent throughout?
Comments (12)you might post some pictures with your cabinets, It might help. I'm not a "designer", so take my words with a grain of salt. But of the hundreds of homes I've been in, I've only ever once noticed the pulls, and that's because she pointed them out, and each one was different on purpose. I have two different color pulls in my house depending on the hardware style of the space, and it never once occurred or bothered me that they were different. To palimpsest's point, different colors or styles creates interest, wheres all the same is cookie-cutter....See MoreYour Most Strongly and Consistently Fragrant Roses
Comments (55)BenT where would you place your Dream Time..... I see it doesn't make any of your tiers.... I am planning on getting it from your pictures alone, but so glad it is fragrant.... however, I can only hope to smell it I have Fragrant Cloud which everybody raves about and my husband loves it.... but I can't smell it.... mine or others... it won best fragrant at our rose show... but nada for me..... I also have Double Delight which I like the scent, but it is not overly strong to me.... but others who visit say WOW..... so I think there must be something wrong with my nose.... but that being said.... Neil Diamond one of my top scented roses... I have two because the first one I thought was a dud and grew backwards... now the 2nd one is doing the same.... so sad because I just love the fragrance and the rose itself but a terrible terrible bush for me... they are declining one stick wonders. Sugar Moon a WONDERFULLY powerful rose scent... but it too has problems. I have two of these bushes because one was mismarked as PJPII. This rose isn't a one cane wonder, but it does get canker easily.... I get lots of tropical winds and the canes seem damage very EASY .... other bushes of same size not so much.... but I sure love the scent. I won't remove SM because I love her scent.... and I debate on getting ND.... but you know the saying Fool Me Once... Fool Me Twice..... but maybe I am just an addict to Neils scent, because it is SO HARD to walk by him at a nursery. Sharifa Asma is my strongest scented David Austin.... I have Jude and Evelyn though neither seem to be super strong.... Outta the Blue is my strongest scented mauve. Nahema is also one of my top contenders....See MoreBumblebeez SC Zone 7
