OP hasn't shown the front door. The pedestrian door to the garage should be painted the siding color to blend into the siding. Having it a different, prominent color will cause confusion to guests and not enhance the house at all. The design of the garage doors does conflict with the design of the house portion we can see.

@Design Girl you're probably right. I HATE the siding color :( unfortunately, I don't think it's in the cards to change it as we're really just hoping to be here short term for a flip. But, the shutters were already painted Iron Ore today. The garage doors comes tomorrow, and boyfriend wants to just paint them the same as the shutters... so iron ore... Which I might just go with now, even though it's dark. He's pretty set on the red door though... I'm not really a fan personally. I hate red. I wanted this color for the door. Can't always get what you want, I think that's how the song goes? I hear ya about the iron ore being dark. I do like it on the shutters, not sure how I'll feel about the garage door being so dark though. I guess we'll see. Can't be any worse than it was before... such awful colors.

There isn't enough room to add shutters to your windows and they wouldn't look right if there were enough room. It's a Victorian window (that oval). I know it's seen everywhere, but it just isn't the right style to enhance your home. Are you wanting larger window/lite in your front door? Or are you planning to paint your current door black (a better solution)?

I would have it match the house body color. Matching it to the garage door would be my second choice. I would never paint it to match the front door to avoid highlighting the door.
