I think you need to put a plan in place before ordering the garage door. You want a cohesive look. A black garage door will look like a black hole unless the elements around it are done correctly

Hi - I think the front door should demand the attention from the road, aesthetically.

Were you to paint the garage door an attention grabbing, contrasting colour also, the increased area in comparison, will dominate. 😮

I don’t think you want the garage door to grab attention from the road. I think that honor should go to your front door, new sidewalk, and landscaping.

I like everyone's idea about the black garage being too much and the front door should be the focus. Since I need a working garage door, I'll go with the white (that could be painted later). Just need to decide on a style that could work. Thanks everyone for your advice, much appreciated!

I'd go with the long windows...probably flush.

Any one of those doors will look good. Like your idea of black and white with awnings.
