Thanks Xuan! Cooler weather/temperature slows down the growth of the scape and of course warmer temp. makes them grow faster. Commercial growers place bulbs with scapes out in cooler rooms with 40-45F temp which stops their growth when they want them to bloom at a certain date. Try placing your planted bulb in the coolest portion of your house and hopefully it will slow down a bit. X'mas is still 4 weeks to go though. I think it will be opening it's flowers in a week or two. Take a note of this. Next time you force your bulb, specially this one, plant it 2-3 weeks later than the date you planted this bulb this year. Your warm temp in Vietnam makes your bulb's scapes emerge faster I guess. Some varieties are faster, some are slower. At least you know this certain bulb is a fast one. It just wants to bloom NOW!!! Why pot them up when they are fat and happy in the ground? You can let them stay there and get fatter, dig them up right before August, let leaves dry and then cut, then store. This is what Soultan does to his ammies. Hope that helps. Good Luck!

Hey Josh...yes I had just watered them before I took the pics...I will wait a while before I water them again....maybe mist then water a little...They did have roots when I recieved...some did not..I will just mist the unrooted ones... MrLike2u...thanks for the compliments... I really am fascinated by the icicles as well...especially hanging down from the fake ones!!! LOL...Mother nature said that "she" could do a better job than the fake ones!!! The light at night behind the icicles is just beautiful!! I wish that I could capture that ....But since they were measuring over 4 feet long...my son decided to take care of them this afternoon!!! Good thing bets were not called in yet!!! LOL... Katkuskris....the white Ghost was potted in the glued mediumof pebbles...that bothered me, but i had to buy it...I loved the color..I cannot see anys signs of it being grafted...Like my Plumerias that are grafted, you can see the graft line...could it be under the pebbles...would you recommend this spring to break the pot and repot in the 5-1-1-mix? I have been trying to study about the different mixes...and am ready to start with new mixes come spring! I have located a nursery located an hour away that has turface and other special ingredients that will be helpful...so I know that my medium is not that great...but I am a "newbie here on this C & S forum, but ready to commit to repotting the right way!!! Thanks again, especially for the candytuft ID, they are the stars of the spiral right now but they're starting to go to seed. I have a fountain in the front yard, and although I agree it would look great I wouldn't want to deal with the hassle in that particular spot. Birds love fountains, consequently they need to be cleaned frequently and it always involves splashing a lot of water on the ground and walking around the fountain a bit. Maybe I could get a birdbath and hook it to the irrigation system, but a statue would be easier and require less maintenance. I think I'm a one fountain person, a second is not something I relish taking care of but I wouldn't dream of getting rid of the one I have. Most recently a bench has been added to the garden, I realized that the place where the path brushes the raised bed is the coolest and most comfortable spot to hang out so I mentioned it to the DH and next thing I knew we had a new bench. I love it, it's perfect for sitting and enjoying my new area.

I lost them from neglect. I got sick and couldn't take care of them. My neighbor also cut his tree down durring that time and my plants toasted.....I was getting constant panic attacks. Even laughing would trigger one. Since then I've learned to deal and not panic :) I'm remarried and this hubby likes plants. When I can't tend to my plants he will. I have a great support system now ❤
