I like your current layout. I think you just need more pieces to fill it in. Consider moving the chair on the left a bit closer to the sofa. Then add a small table between the two chairs. Add your coffee table and a floor lamp between the sofa and chair to add some height to the corner. Consider adding a floor plant to the right corner with an up llght behind it. Add a large piece of artwork behind the sofa on the wall to fill in some wall space. Your drapes feel a little underwhelming. Get a larger diameter rod and move it up to accommodate 96" curtains that are hung a bit wider. You'll probably need 4 panels. I would use back tab blackout curtains in an off white to match your rug. Your clock is hung too high. I would move it to the left of the window with the center 62" from the floor. You have a nice start and it's nice to see a room with some color. Hope this helps!

There is a natural walkway from the kitchen to the slider along that wall. Leave it clear, and put the tv on the opposite wall. A conversation area is no larger than 12x12, so I think you are just spacing your furniture too far apart. What is your dining area like? You don’t want your living area furniture encroaching on it. Line the rug up in front of the tv, with the tv centered in the living area. Put the long couch opposite.

is another arrangement that I just tried. I switched the chairs for the blue couch from your suggestion because I want to be able to access the furniture arrangement from the kitchen side rather than near the doors. If I leave an access and have the two couches as you suggested, there is no room for an end table between the couches and I think it needs one. What do you think of this arrangement? In the last photo, you can see what the kitchen looks like connected to the livingroom. I like moving the sofa table because it was encroaching on the dining space.

Sounds as if you already decided. One other possibility is to flank the chairs in front of the glass door so they're centered on the door. Put TV wall mounted over your side console. Slightly float sofa facing TV--no sofa table bc there's already too much furniture in this room. Other sofa facing the the glass door. This still leaves you with a walkway, though someone does have to pass in front of TV, but that's not a huge deal. Instead of a side table, get a great nesting coffee table you can pull out as needed--maybe three-pieces.

I like that a lot. I would move the clock to the wall to the right of the curtains. It's a good size for that space. Make the center of the clock sit 62" from the floor.
