The color adds something. my3dogs, your doggies always look so cute. I've admired your cl leather furniture before. I can't find a picture of the rug now. I'll have to post one later. The rug goes great with burgundy colored furniture because it has some in the rug. I haven't tried it with navy and if it has any navy, it's not much. It's pretty neutral rug though. The subtle burgundy piping on the leather couch (which I can't even see in the photos) may be good for matching it to the rug. I think that the blue chair probably would look better in the room simply because the leather recliners would take up a lot of space and they have a heavier look. I wish I could use all the chairs, but I think two chairs would fit best. My hunch is that two identical upholstered gold chairs would be best. But I love leather and I love a deal. And that blue wingback would match. What to do? I don't have the space for everything. I think a blue sofa flanked with one gold chair and one blue chair potentially could look unbalanced because the blues are so much darker than the gold, which reflects light. I'll see all the furniture in person tomorrow. The recliners have got to be big though. I could accommodate the footstool sizewise.

She bought it from the floor and had no cushion options. Some folks call these comfort wrinkles and yes they will develop over time if you buy a softer seat core or cushion and a really soft leather. A good informed sales person can help you with the right seat cushion for you if you mention your concern. I have leather in several rooms in my home and some pieces puddle while others do not. In some rooms I wanted a puddle look and was going for it, but not in my formal rooms . You can always expect this to happen when the seat core is to soft or when down is used. Some people like down but don't like the puddle so in that case look for a spring, poly down cushion. This gives you the down topper without the huge puddle. Mid to high end manufactures that produce in the USA will usually have these options. All leather furniture will not have a butt print. Its all in the seat cushion core and leather you select.

Hi there- I would recommend a rug in shades of deep hues of blues, reds, and greys. Neutrals or metallics would also pair well with your bold couches and floors. These would work, in my opinion. Have you considered a small print with some burgundy, taupe, and maybe black as well if that appears anywhere else in the room? Many prints read as solid from a distance but will add variety and may be more cohesive than a second solid color
