I was surprised to see a white heron...usually we get only the blue ones.

Not a creature... but what I saw right after sunrise... I got on the road at 6:15 with 73 degrees, with a 98 for a high today. Picture was taken at 6:30

Everyone's photos are beautiful - but Jrb's really caught my eye. I've never been able to get a picture of the pileated woodpeckers that I frequently hear and only occasionally see.

@maire_cate, of the 5,000+ pictures of the woodpecker taken with my game camera, that was the only one with that pose. The WP was fascinated with its reflection in the garage window. It was there daily, dawn to dusk for over 3 weeks. I finally took the camera down because I was getting essentially the same 4-5 poses everyday. I wish I had that shot with better resolution. It is indeed a rarity. Thanks.

I took this in London last fall. It's the mail carriage that takes the Queen's mail from St. James Palace to Buckingham Palace every day.

I took a couple of 6 week cruises, Ft. Lauderdale round trip to the Med. I have also cruised from Venice back to Ft. Lauderdale. 3 trips to Alaska, one long cruise from Buenos Aires, around the cape, up the west coast of S. America and then Ft. Lauderdale.Longest one was last autumn 51-days round trip from San Diego - Tales of the South Pacific. Several cruises to Hawaii and have been through the Panama Canal 8 times.
