Yesterday's chain reaction was fun, so let's do it again. Eld's idea is: choose a photo from something in my photo that inspires you. The next person looks at that next photo and shares a photos of theirs using one element of the previous photo. (Sorry for the confusion yesterday...I'll re-run the same photo.)

These doors and steps used to be outside..but these days they add on around old structures to preserve what was and yet make the old more useful. Annie's door reminded me of this church as it is where my grand parents were married in a very small town in no where MN. FF 60 years and a nephew was married there too. Small world.

@dimac83....They seem to be naturally well formed. I turn it about once every two years, as it leans towards the window/sun. It loses leaves as it ages, exposing the thickened, trunk like stems. I had another BIG one...and I tried lifting it off it's perch....and it broke into about 10 small pieces....so i just stuck a few stems in the dirt...and started over. They ALL end up being well formed....if they're happy.

There's something about a door that interests me - I have loads of photos of doors, gates, arches, entries. Wonder what that might mean?

maire-cate....I think it's the mystery of what's beyond the door. I especially love to look through gates to see what's beyond. With google satellite images, I've been able to satisfy some of my curiosity to see big expensive homes behind locked gates. Then again, there's a home in our neighborhood that's been obscured so you can't see it...I think you can request google to do that for you if you want.
