If any of these are repeats, I'm sorry. A mixed bag between my now defunct real camera and my phone, which is not as good with some colors.

Question: I bought that new flower yesterday, but I can't put it where I want it until after bloom season. What do I do with it? Right now it is just soaking.

Nice post! I like claws and all the purples, but the Lord Chamberlain clump is my favorite. You should probably pot up the new one until you can plant it in the ground.

You were fortunate to get such good photo's. I went out early before church and got a few. Some weren't open yet and when I got home, the rains came..in buckets so everyone I didn't take a photo of, was beat to death. Destined To See looks really good and Gilded By Grace is strutting. A 5" bloom is a really good one on her. As always, PSM does light things up and Lord Of The Wind is a favorite here. Ellie

What a great way to spend a rainy day Jo. Your garden is looking lush and lovely! Trifecta, Dark Shadows and Jujen are getting a lot of deserved attention but they all look fabulous. Great shots of minis and monsters alike. My London Fog was hit by the late frost and has some damaged leaves. It is quite likely that is why yours seems more fragile this year(?) I have always thought it a great performer considering the percentage of white in the leaves. Your non-hostas are happy looking too. lol! Rodgersia is a favorite of mine. Very smart and nice of you to donate some hostas to your neighbors. Community beautification - love it. Thank you for the tour, the rain did not stop here until noon today.

Oooh, Zipporah is lovely! And Teddy Bear Picnic is adorable. Is it a reverse bitone? It's interesting how it takes a few years for daylilies to settle into their "pace" in the North...usually I end up with ML/L/VL that disappointingly turn EM/M though...adding Zipporah to my list. I would love some sort of giant AHS list by ZONE of what is reliably L/VL in different climates...who's with me? Cheers! ~Anika

Thanks Debra. I don't know how much longer that winding pathway will be there if those clumps keep spreading! Time to divide, I think. Nancy, I know yours will be starting to pop soon. Mantis, I have Omomuki and while these are very similar, there are some differences. Same with Imperial Lemon which I thought might be this one but I also have IL, so it is easy to compare. I bought this noid from a daylily garden in Nashville over 20 years ago and somewhere in my gardening notes, I know I must have kept the names of those I bought. Just haven't found it yet. Celeste, I am so sorry you may be looking at another dry summer. At least you got PLENTY of snow to help with your ground water depth perhaps. You do like your purples and they like you. Regal Heir, Indian Giver and Lord Chamberlain look especially good. Of course I always like seeing Smoky Mountain Autumn. Tenn. Sunset is a pretty color too. Lots of nice ones................Maryl

I always like Smoky Mountain Autumn, the color is so unusual. My favorites are Scarlet Pimpernel and Lord Chamberlain.

Lots of pretties, especially the purples. I particularly like the Liberty Banner and the Scarlet Pimpernel Clumps. I always soak and them potup the ones I have to wait to plant.

I love Claws! What great form it has, I don’t remember you posting it in the past. Indian Giver looks wonderful. Your show off today for sure is Scarlet Pimpernel, what a lovely clump.

I thought at first this was a Celeste post with all these wonderful purples!! I always enjoy seeing your Munsons. So Labyrinth is still making it I see. Your Indian Giver and Scarlet Pimpernel clumps are wonderful. The yellow lover in me is pulling for Claws and Spider Miracle. Great color on all of these. I like the seedling colors.

Thanks all! I do have some yellows. I prefer light yellow with lots of green in them, so Claws and Spider Miracle are favorites. Regrettably neither is a prolific bloomer. Kate, your Kate's Smile is going crazy with blooming!
