No "comment" box shows up on some posts?

Lately I've been running into this problem. I read a post and want to comment but when I scroll to the bottom it just ends. There is no Comment box anywhere. Anyone know why?

When I've run into it, it seems to be because the post is cross-posted to a 'forum' that doesn't allow replies, like a FAQ. You can get around it by going through Houzz instead of Gardenweb.

Now this doesn't answer the question of why FAQ's are set up as forums that people can post to.

I don't think I've ever been on the FAQ forum so I didn't know that you can't comment there. But these were threads right here in the rose forum. And a couple of them were definitely questions that wanted answers. Two of them had other comments already posted. It's not every thread just some of them. Weird

Hi, I agree w/ the attitude. I would also be upset. I remember recently seeing the exact words and "code name". For the life of me, I can't find it. I don't want to be reminded. I really think this person changed their name and wording on the web after this. There are some good vendors out there. However, I stay away from the ones that are just trying to get back some of their money/justify a "hosta addiction". Good Luck

ilima The most important thing to make sure you turn up on google, after making sure your homepage has the right search words in the opening text, is to get your site address referenced on as many other webpages as possible - directory listings, private webpages etc. Often its a case of contacting the site webmasters and proposing an exchange of links. To get a google spider to visit and catalogue your website click on 'about google' on their homepage then add URL. You only ever need do this once.
