Like everyone else, I love buttons...... In another life - I was the Notions and trim buyer for the large Fabric store where I was the manager. The owners used to buy the buildings that huge grocery stores had been in - just to give you an idea of the size of the stores - 1971-the beginning of the superstores except these stores were privately owned. Back to buttons. I was the "buyer" for 5 stores - Buttons were my favorite- sitting down with Mfr reps & picking out individual styles & lines of buttons~I was in heaven, but too young to recognize it ~LOL~ So yes, I love buttons...... Recently, I saw watch bands made of buttons - they were beautiful. Good-fun activity for kids - small and quick project. Enjoy your button stash - great purchase your parents made :)

You can change your profile to disable that. Go to Your Houzz in the upper right hand corner of your screen. Click on Edit Profile from the drop down box; click again on the Edit profile button and then select Advanced Settings from the left hand side of the page. If you scroll down a bit you can disable all the e-mail notifications.

I use Safari on an iPad usually, and sometimes I have to poke the icon several times before it will turn green. There seems to be a delay often times too, so sometimes I just wait a few seconds to see if it takes. Frustrating. I too wish they had left it a larger size. I didn’t have these problems before. And yes, Dawn is correct, if you hit the icon again, it will reverse the action.

"I loathe using Chrome but I'm about ready to give up on firefox." I loathe Chrome too but for a reason that wouldn't matter to anyone else. (unable to customize position of tabs) Nothing wrong with multiple browsers and Chrome is very popular. Personally, if I was faced with using a browser I didn't like, rather than go through that change, I'd probably consider a "Refresh" first. "Help" -> "More Troubleshooting Information". (about:support) (try about:about sometime to see a list of available "about"'s) (about:profiles offers an easy way to create a new profile) I see they now have an option to clear "Startup Cache". (not browser cache) I've never tried that, maybe that would help you? I haven't had problems with Firefox in a long long time, so I'm pretty dedicated to it. But that's just me. ETA, I just tried clearing startup cache to see if it messed anything up. I don't see anything different but then again, nothing was broken for it to fix.
