NEW: Now Time to Sign up: 2011-2012 Theme Garden Seed Swap
Comments (53)clay lady, we would love to have you join in! Just list your 5 themes and send me your e-mail address and you are in. However, I am closing the sign ups tomorrow morning so we can all start sorting, ordering, and packing up seeds - so don't take long to list your themes and send me an e-mail message. Okay? (Nothing like putting the pressure on, but at least you found us in time!) More information will come to you and all the others by e-mail once the sign ups close and I will start a new thread here on the Round Robin Exchange page so we can keep up with what has been mailed to me, received by me, and when I mail back to you and you receive your packet. I will include the full list of participants and themes there also. Looking forward to lots of fun. Happy New Year's Weekend to all! Comments (12)In the event you're looking for black, here's a chandelier I almost bought for my hall bath: http://www.overstock.com/Home-Garden/6-Light-Curved-Iron-and-Crystal-Chandelier/3267051/product.html We've not had any complaints with the Armonk. It's definitely *rusty* not ORB or black. In fact, it was admired and photographed by the ironworkers that did our welded in place custom staircase to the loft. They thought the finish on it was "very good for mass-produced" (maybe I should go over and defend my chandy on PB :-)?) On the other hand, PB is selling it as a damp rated fixture and I can't say that I think it would do well finish wise outdoors......See MoreArrggh! Gardenweb search is screwed up!!!!
Comments (45)What I notice about Houzz (as a business, rather than as a host for our forum) is the ads for contractors that appear while I'm reading this forum. And I do take note of some of those... they are people and businesses that I might not know of otherwise. I haven't really needed any of those services recently, but when we get ready to look at having a pergola built in the backyard, it will come in handy. And I know my DIL uses Houzz. It is all about making a buck... nothing wrong with that, in my book!...See MoreRichard (Vero Beach, Florida)
