Help! Need advice on what color to paint our Maple cabinets

Help! We are re-doing our kitchen and I need to choose a cabinet color for my maple cabinets. Our home is the Tuscan style from the early 2000’s, so I do want to go with a warmer color. My walls are SW divine white. I like a bit of a darker beige or cream than SW Divine white to offset the lighter LRV of 72. Has anyone tried SW Natural Linen, BM Natural linen, BM Clay Beige, BM White Sand for cabinets? Also was thinking of Accessible Beige, but afraid it will be too gray. My kitchen is north facing, with minimal light. Our floors are noche travertine. We are going with a lighter granite or quartz and maybe Cle’ tiles for backsplash.

Comments (17)Thanks for the replies...I love this forum. Great humor, too, just when I needed it. This morning we talked and had an enlightenment. I had to do some pretty slick talking. Husband just came in and saw me on the forum...he reads/enjoys it, too, and said, "Well, are you going to tell them you're finally getting your way?" In reality, our cabinets are contractor grade, cheap cabinets which are about 17 years old. Some of the doors have warped. Husband had actually purchased 3 additional oak cabinets and tried to match the doors, etc, as best he could, but they don't match. We would have used them in this galley kitchen...2 rows of cabinets parallel to each other...and not matching at that. And, even painted, they still wouldn't match. We were going to top them off with expensive granite. We decided it just didn't make sense to do that....we don't plan on moving any time soon, but, still, I don't think it would add to the value of our home. So. We are going stretch a little and replace those cabinets with ones we love. We found some Kraftmaid cherry cabinets in a shaker style we really like with a nutmeg or ginger glaze (still contemplating which one) and it won't break the bank. Now we are back to the countertops...we're going to worry about those first, and finally the flooring. Back to the granite search next. It's been a long day....but the sun was shining in Indiana... I'm turning 60 this month! We decided this would be a gift to us...(he will be 60 next year) a nice, new kitchen we both love. I like them, but I'm not sure if I love them.... @ :Having green in my kitchen was my sister's idea, and it took a little time to be okay with the thought until I saw the glass green tile. Still, I've had reservations. Do I wear green? Not so much. FYI, if it says anything, I have dark espresso hardwood floors; Coir color walls in living room; bathrooms with ivory travertine floors and walls and espresso shaker style cabinets and caesarstone countertops (Behr brand, I think; khaki/tan with a green tone); and pottery barn looking bedrooms for the kids and my husband and me. ~ Below are some better photos. Do the clearer photos change your thoughts about our design which includes white cabinets and stainless steel appliances? Or, do you think I should go with the classic white look, maybe with all white subway tiles? I just want my kitchen to be beautiful, clean and crisp, yet with some warmth, and be worth the money spent. Comments (28)You could do it w/a jigsaw. (borrow or rent one if you don't have one) These are some DIY links that will walk you through it. Grab a friend w/a bit more know-how if you don't think you can manage. 3 years agoYou need to pull away and show more pictures and the adjoining spaces that are open nearby. I agree that just changing countertops to a cream/gold/tan like the floor would vastly improve the kitchen more than having the cabinets painted.

3 years agoThanks! We are keeping the floors. We extended our island and added plain wood cabinets for a built in fridge and freezer. All have to be painted. We already have the doors off with the painter. So committed. I love this kitchen, I just wish I knew what color the cabinets are. The post says Wood case White Cabinetry. Any ideas what paint color this would be? Do you think this combo would look nice with our floors?
