You could add some storage with a large trunk. Keep out of season blankets or sweaters in it. Drawers might be awkard as you can't really stand in front due to the tv screen. Maybe a low cabinet?

ps. You might want to add two more panels to your curtains, sheer curtains should be 2x the width of the window so they are not stretched when closed.

Can the bed be put on the wall opposite the window? That way the TV could be flat against the wall with a chest below it. Personally I would have done a smaller TV on the wall opposite the bed

@jck910 Thank you! We might try rearranging it, just felt weird at first because the window is so far offset to the right. We have 4 TVs and 2 bedrooms hahaha they are all 75" Justing trying to make due with what we have!

Thank you for the curtain suggestion, Im coming from a bachelor pad where the decor consisted of 2 photos, a signed photo from Jim Carrey and another autograph from Snoop Dogg. Dont judge me :P

Well, when you hang those photos keep in mind these guidelines:

Hang single artwork at eye level, and 57-60 inches from center to the floor. If you're hanging your art above furniture, it can be 4-6 inches above the piece. If the art is going above a sofa or console, the piece should be approximately 2/3 width of the furniture.

And if you buy rugs:

If you’ve got a room-sized area rug, leave at least two feet of bare floor around it in a large room and at least 12 inches in a smaller room, so it doesn’t look like you ran out of carpet. For a smaller area rug, make sure it’s large enough to allow at least the front two legs of your furniture to rest on it, but not so large that there’s more than two feet of empty rug beyond the furniture.

In the living room:

Keep sofas and chairs 14-18 inches from tables, and at least 2.5 feet no more than about 8 feet apart. Don't line the walls with seating unless you have a tiny room.

If you avoid skimpy curtains, too high wall decor, too small rugs, and furniture that is too far apart you will be way ahead of the other bachelor padders!
