Need suggestions on how to arrange furniture on my front porch
Comments (2)This is kind of the opposite of symmetry, but do you ever plan on eating out there or having children color or do projects? I have a small table and chairs on my front porch and I love it. Also have one on back porch so I can either follow the sun or avoid it depending on the time of year. I guess I'm suggesting think about how you will use it then choose the furniture. Have fun, Kathy...See MoreNeed help with new furniture arrangement
Comments (2)There are a few things you can do to increase the seating in this space. If you want to keep the sectional, one of the things you can do is put a chair on each side of the TV console. This will increase the amount of seating in your space. However if you are open to getting rid of the sectional, then you can get a 3 seat sofa and have 2 chairs on one side and one chair on the other. You might even be able to work in 2 chairs on each side of the sofa. We think if you decide to get chairs you might want to look into swivel chairs....See MorePatio & deck furniture arrangement
Comments (2)Your space looks generous and nice. Aside from a grilling location, what other activities are planned for outdoors? Sunbathing, dining (large and/or small group), hot tub, conversation, firepit perhaps. Are you planning or need shade from landscaping or other means? My recommendation is to “live” with the new space while you decide how to best utilize the various areas, then shop for furnishings. Below is a link to our backyard. It was begun in 1998 and refinements continue. Good luck. http://s1277.photobucket.com/user/treeshouse/library/Patio%20and%20Back%20yard?sort=2&page=1...See MoreNeed Help with Exterior Paint, Patio Deck and front door color ideas!
