The other day I ended up throwing out a pie pumpkin because I could barely cut it. It was like cutting rocks. I've never used one before so I don't know if that was typical or if mine was old. Maybe it is normally that hard and that's why most people buy canned pumpkin? I even sharpened by knife but still it was almost impossible. The acorn & butternut squash both cut like butter in comparison, so I don't think it was my knife. It was nothing like carving a Halloween pumpkin. I decide to quit before I ended up having an accident with the knife. Does anyone know if my experience was normal or if I had an old pumpkin? At this point, I will never attempt to use a pie pumpkin again. They're dead to me.

I don't have that sofa, but I have one that's similar from Calico Corners that I've been happy with. When I was shopping for furniture, I felt that Calico Corners offered good quality (American made, eight way hand tied, etc.) for the price.

I am an interior designer and have recently been very disappointed with the quality of Norwalk upholstery and the unwillingness of the company to rectify issues. My client purchased a sectional and within 3 weeks of delivery a hole on each corner of the arm has appeared where the fabric has rubbed against nothing but wood. There is no padding in between the fabric and the wood and the fabric was not backed to prevent this. The other issue is puling of the fabric on the side of the sectional near the back corner creating a ripple effect. The company has refused to fix these issues. I have a very unhappy client and would not recommend them.

Pleased to report an update! a few weeks ago, i echoed several negative reviews of the Pottery Barn Pearce sectional sofa. after contacting the company and sharing my experience, I am pleased to report that they are making it right! my faith in their customer service has been renewed and strengthened. while I hope they're able to correct the quality issues with this beautiful sofa in the future, I am delighted they are standing by their customer. In the meantime I look forward to trying another sofa with better reviews. I appreciate the positive comments about the PB Basic styles, as im leaning that direction And again, their slip covers are amazing! I will always be a fan!
