We're thinking a mid-toned greyish blue would be best in the space. The KD is coming tomorrow with the samples and it literally needs to be picked out and ordered then or we will hold up the whole project, so the pressure is on. She is also going to have a cow when I tell her we're getting a farmhouse sink after all. I am nervous, but excited- blue just feels right to me once we thought of it. I've never posted a pic- but the link below is our inspiration photo. island: We're doing the Alpine White for the perimeter. I was planning on doing the Antique but it looked too yellow against my existing trim (which I have in the whole house). I loved both, you just have to see it in your room. I like the Edgemont door a lot- it's got the simplicity of shaker but the little bevel detail really makes it pop. If I can figure out how to post the layout I will. I wouldn't worry about it. I would have chosen blinds to match the trim but it is what it is; it's just a blended color scheme off-whites. NBD. Once you get everything in place, it will look fine.

If it's for resale I'd stick to white. New owner can easily add their color of preference to the white walls. Painting or repainting a ceiling is a pain!

in the main room you have partial white windows. I'd paint them all white so that it matches. even the door casing. you can leave the wood doors. as for the baseboards, up to you. your wood ones don't look too bad. It's just a whole lot of wood, especially if you're bringing in arts/crafts type of oak furniture. the floor is oak but the baseboards and trim look like something else. I'd prob do that living room/kitchen trim/baseboards in Alabaster. wait for the other rooms until you get everything in and see how it looks you have to admit, it looks much fresher.
