It starts with a completely different concrete mix with no gray Portland cement in it. White only. And completely different aggregate. White quartz sand and quartz rock aggregate. $$$$$ That has more in common with a concrete counter than it does an exterior grade stand up to the elements concrete.

Yes this is what it seems from my online research - thanks for confirming. Do you have a recommendation for the actual colorant if we can figure out the white base/aggregate?

Are you sure about this? We had white concrete pavers in our last house and they were super sexy when freshly power washed. If one oak leaf sat on the concrete and got wet you had a permanent leaf print until you power washed. Ugh. This house we did neutral grey pavers- not as sexy but easier to maintain.

The stairs in your inspiration photo are a specialty product. Normally the concrete floor specialists (that's all they do, all day everyday) are the one's to create such a thing. Is there a reason why your mason hasn't called them in to do the job?
