I'd be tempted to put liquor in the lower portion and use it partially as a bar. It seems like too much display space -- would rather have some for storage of serving things, etc.

But really, you have a good start. If the dishes are decorative, you might get stands to put a couple of nice pieces upright behind or next to the stacks, so that they can be seen -- up in the upper part, among sections of glassware. Sprinkle the curios in among the rest like you might in a bookcase.

Then consider putting curtains in front of the glass of all the bottom cabinets (who has lit displays at calf height?) and use them for placemats, serving ware, and other things that are useful rather than glamorous. Or keep some additional curious there that might rotate into the upper cabinets, or be part of a seasonal centerpiece, or whatever else...

Hi. How nice to have built-in display and storage! You might try lightening the back of the cabinet with off white fabric or painted foam core board. It may be the picture on my phone but the light reads as kind of yellow. If you want less display and more storage, consider frosted glass spray on the lower cabinets. Have you thought about adding knobs to the doors?

Have you thought about covering the glass in the lowers? I found lots of ideas on Pinterest- metal inserts, fabric, decorative paper, contact paper, window film, stenciled glass...

For glass to show you need a color on the inside walls of the cabinets. There is removable wallpaper or you could paint. I would put glass film on the bottom cabinet doors. I think it's a lot of display otherwise.

Unfortunately these things are pretty in use but lost when stacked up. As others have said I would make the bottom solid- back paint the glass with white paint, frost it, add rattan. Anything to make it solid. Then your bulk storage is down below. Next I would create vignettes of your pretty procelian ( a blue and white tray up against the back, another plate in front, a cup and saucer). I would keep the middle shelf for wine glasses. Top would be single sculptural objects. Frankly even the top is a lot of display and I might block the two flanking top doors as well...

If you have lots of decorative items and don't need the enclosed storage, you can make it work as it is. But covering the bottom portion is a great idea so your eye is drawn up to the upper lighted shelves. Or even just remove the lighting from the lower shelves. First, set the shelves at the same height on all the upper cabinets, with the bottom shelve taller for your taller items. Then group like items together - put solid items like vases and decorative things on the bottom shelf, and all the glasses on the two higher shelves, spread horizontally across the cabinets. Look at examples of bookcases to help you find balance when placing your items.

I like the idea of curtains inside the glass on the lower ones. I'd use the same fabric to line the backs of the uppers. At least unscrew the lightbulbs in the lower. :)

I have something similar except the bottom portion in my setup is doors. i struggled as well and looked at lots of examples in houzz to help me. I think though some of the things i did apply for you. I would first probably try and keep all the shelves the same across to keep it as clean as possible. it looks like you may have a maybe a 12piece set of dishes with cups and saucers or even more. i put a set of dishes to show in each cubby. i placed the large plate on a plate stand so there is height and then set the cup and saucer like they would be when you set the table. i had a water glass for the place setting to add as well to each place setting. example below. i would try and do that on the bottom half of your cabinet. I would also put platters on a stand so they can be seen easier and take up the room of one of the cubbies. then the top half add all your glasses. i like how you have them just in a line setup within each cubby. I would go all the way across the cabinet in a horizontal fashion with each style of wine glass, depending on how many styles you have. I would probably out them on the bottom shelf all the way across. they are used probably more often so put them in an easier place to grab. then you have other objects that you can put in the other cubbies. some pics to hopefully help show what I mean.

just.thought of something else... I would stick to a specific color pallet, maybe its blue and white, clear crystal and clear glass. you want several large objects, like 6 blue and white vases and jars. you can put them on the top shelf horizontally across the entire cabinet. because all the cabinets have glass fronts having consistency will be important.

My kitchen is nit staged. It holds what u own and use in my real life. It looks fine to me.
