Roadside flower ID

I saw this flower on the side of the road during a walk. It reminds me of an aster, which kind of confuses me in June lol. And it's actually been in bloom since May. Anyone know what it is? Sorry I didn't get a better shot of the plant itself.

Yup fleabane, scientific name Erigeron. I can’t see which from this photo, but here is a page from GoBotany from the native plant trust (used to be New England wildflower society) with links to the various local Erigeron species. It might be Erigeron annuus.

Yes, it does look like Lindee, but it's 12 ft long, lol. Isn't Lindee a miniature? I will be happy to *try* get you one of these sometime around the middle of May, when I go back to the area. There are not nearly as many of the white ramblers, and it may be harder to spot if it's no longer blooming.

Ah, thank you! At least I wasn't crazy thinking it was an aster! Same family, so I'm still somewhat sane. Also, nice to see a real native wildflower in amongst all the poison ivy, japanese knotweed, rosa multiflora, bittersweet, etc.
