Your pic didn't come through yet. For the sizing, have you tried taping it out with painter's tape? That can help you visualize the decor "impact". As a general rule, I find bigger is better on large walls but it really depends on how pieces relate to each other. Your choice in particular art though, that's personal. It's about what makes your heart sing. :)

Just saw your pics. I like both art pieces for the room - they both suit the space, imo. I agree: a large piece on this wall would look fabulous! I'd be tempted to fill a good 2/3 of the wall. Tape it out and see. :)

Either piece would work nicely in your room. I personally like the one with the house, but you need to choose art based upon what YOU love. I agree that a large canvas is called for, and like the size you're considering for the wall. I'm a big believer in large works to create an impactful focal point in a room, and think you're on the right track.

I think whatever you choose can go bigger than what you have there. I'll also insert my fav pic lol.

The bigger the better, especially with nothing underneath. Maybe tape out the 3x4 ft and see what you think.

Hooray for Melissa R. for including the spectacle-wearing amphibian! He is my favorite! However, I do very much like Maureen's triptych nautical piece. I agree with everyone else here - the bigger the better. A single, small piece of artwork just looks sad surround by all that space. Good luck!

If Mr. Frog is a no go then I would do this one. I like it better than the two blue ones

I would do a very large piece. Since large artwork is very expensive you could get a piece of mdf cut to size and paste a wallpaper mural on top of the mdf. The project would probably cost around $100.

You could also do multiple mdf panels if one panel is too big to transport.
