Need help decorating the wall in the hallway
I'm looking for advice on how to decorate the hallway wall that's visible from the dining room (3 openings in the wall). If you recommend hanging art on the wall then I would appreciate if you could tell me the best place to buy the art from.
Also, would you recommend one big art or 3 arts of the size of the openings?

Comments (5)I would just get some very large, over sized art in a modern style. If you're trying to get some function out that space, you could get a skinny console table. I obviously don't know what that is a hallway to (or from), but I like to put bookcases in hallways. People always say there isn't room, but there is. I like it when there are items in a long hallway that make you "meander" through it, it helps to break it up if there are actually things that you have to weave your way through. I have 3 photos inherited from my grandmother, my mom and aunts that are in blond frames from the 1950s and 1960s. I'm hesitant to lose the vintage quality. Attaching the pic for better view and color. Do you think this rug would go with the existing rug in the room?

3 years agoyou have a lovely home and love the chairs at the heads of the table in your dining room. you have a lovely piece of art in your living room, maybe use that as inspiration for another large piece of art in your hallway? below is a rug that has a neutral background with just a couple additional colors that could work with the two rooms.
