Decolist Vinyl Wallcovering Warning! I cashed in my entire 401K to invest in Decolistic Vinyl to make our house a home. Sure, at first it looked yummy with all those pictures of leafless trees, wacky sunflowers, giraffes wearing sunglasses and antique trains on every wall, but thinking ahead to resale we decided to rip them down on the advice of our Realtor and every single person we spoke to. Easy? Ha! We tried wallpaper stripper, fabric softener, soy based paint stripper, pool cleaner. Nada. We tried sanding with a cheese grater. Steaming with a floor mop. A chisel. Lenten prayer. A flamethrower. Well, the flamethrower finally worked. Now we will have to repaint. Any color suggestions?

where are you ... that you would be thinking of treating a deciduous tree in mid September ... for about half of us ... leaves will be falling in a month or so ... and it would not really be high on the cost/benefit ratio.. to bother treating ... and cold night temps meanwhile ... will take care of them ... some trees just have to go .. period ... and if.. as you say.. its driving you crazy...well.. just get rid of it ... period ... one might suggest.. your mental health is of higher value than some random carp tree ... I think photo collage gets lost..too much of black frame it between, it blurs and takes off the photos..which is not fair to them-I'm sure they are dear to you. I think should be put somewhere where easier to appreciate them..or maybe even arranged differently(I know, it's a hassle.) Your AC somehow doesn't bother me:) Sizes/orientation of future art that Rina suggests are about perfect. I'd leave an arrangement on the mantel for now as is..and just wait until right art comes your way(or you spot it and drag it)) Rule of matching art with interior style sounds approximately like this: don't match:) Don't be preoccupied with it. Ah, and the frame(if you decide to go for it, or have to go for it)-you pick the best one for art. Frame is for framing an art the best. Keep your room in mind; but it's secondary.
