~My mom decided to leave this earth and go and be with the rest of her family up in heaven yesterday afternoon ...🙏
She is at peace now... she is smelling all of beautiful blooms and watching her Seagulls and Cardinals as she holds the hands of her mom and dad and sisters and brothers. ❤️
My heart is broken and you can never prepare for the loss of your mom or any loved one. Alzheimer’s is an awful disease that can make you mourn long before the actual physical loss....💜
Being in this pandemic made it even worse since I could not see her or hold her until yesterday. It had been three months since I last took her to lunch... But it’s not about me, it’s about my mom...🌺
My mom was a strong woman right up until yesterday when she decided it was time. So my mom even up to the end had it her way!! ❤️
It’s painful and I’m hurting so deeply, but i know she is in a better place... now she is free to do as she pleases.
I’ll miss you mom and the way you loved smelling my Plumeria... Just hanging with me as we ride in the car and going out to lunch!! You always enjoyed being together even when the words were hard to find.. Sometimes words aren’t necessary when you can tell that you’re happy and content being in my presence... and for that, I’ll be forever grateful.🙏
Until we meet again Mom is when we can walk hand in hand...when I see those Blue Herons in my yard or those Red Cardinals flying around, I know you are with me. But you will always be with me anyway...
I love you so much and I miss you!!

But to be serious, why even use the PA system to use that 12:00 code--if all the employees know what it means, they're splitting. Comments (31)OMG that's what we got too! I'm really glad to hear that you had a good experience. I was a little worried going through Home Depot, but they were offering such a great deal, it was just too hard to pass up. Tuff Shed has a local warehouse center located by one of my clients, so I did some hard comparisons between the warehouse's retail product and the one they offer through Home Depot. The warehouse told me that the Tuff Sheds sold at Home Depot are made of the exact same materials and by the same crew as the regular warehouse sheds. The warehouse sheds come with some slight differences like added radiant protection from the sun but other than that, the only real difference is that Home Depot didn't want to offer the stronger warranties that they offer on theirs, but the difference in price was almost double. Yep, thats the barn we looked at, only in the 10x12. We really loved how open it was, it literally felt larger than the ranch style in the same size. In order to get an open feel in the ranch we opted for the 12/6 pitched roof and then we got the upgraded eaves so it would match the house. At first we were going to get the loft, but I saw a ranch style online with one built in and half of it wasn't really functional because of the roof. After that, we decided to change it to two 16" shelves along the back wall instead. So I see you got several windows! I love that! it looks so nice! My husband didn't want any windows but I couldn't resist having at least one. I really wanted to add transom windows to the doors, but we were already over budget. The ramp is what really killed us, but we had to have it for the riding mower. So did you paint or did they? And where is your metal foundation? I just know we will end up having to add some of the pavers under ours, the ground isn't too wonky, but it's still is off a tad. I figure we can build up the landscape around it afterwards. The guy told us to put pea gravel and limestone under it and critters will avoid it like the plague so we're doing that this weekend. Wow, you sure have a nice spot, very pretty, your house looks so majestic sitting there. I think we would have set ours back on our lot some too if we weren't storing yard and snow stuff in it. Way in the back by the property line we have another old shed, but its in terrible shape and wasn't worth restoring. It's mini barn we plan on tearing down this summer. I'm so tickled you had pictures! And thanks so much for posting them! That sounds like so much fun with the boats. When we lived in Louisiana, we lived on the river and boated all the time. If it will fit above the wainscoting, you could have the entry mirror replace the mirror and other items you already have on that one wall in the dining room. As is, that dining room wall is a bit "busy". Comments (18)We here in the Tampa Bay Area have what's called the Gasparilla Pirate Festival which includes a parade in late January. (It's mainly a money-making thing for all the snowbirds that are still here.) It's been going on for over a century. When I was a kid my grandma lived on a street that the parade went down and we saw it for several years in a row. But when my son got to be old enough to know what was going on I took him and couldn't believe what was going on. I vowed not to take him back. People were acting as if it was Mardi Gras and I'm talking broad daylight flashing and heavy drinking/drug activity. They finally started having a separate parade day for the children because a lot of families refused to go anymore. So I don't have anything against people who want to hoop and holler and act up in adult fashion but not around the kids....See More

3 years agolast modified: 3 years agoThank you everyone for your heartfelt condolences for my mom. It’s been difficult as you all might understand because this was unexpected. She did have Alzheimer’s but she passed from a heart attack ... She was lucky to be in the arms of an aid who was there with her even thought I wish it was me. I did receive a call right then and was told to come ASAP... all I could do was to suit up in my garb with the help of a director of her memory care trying to get me back.. suited up with goggles, mask and gloves and sitting with my mom was like I was in a different world. She was already gone.. but I just missed that point. I stayed with her until it was time for her to be assisted.. I left empty and alone. Never thinking it would end this way. I’m broken.. she was my Best friend and knew me right up to the end. She started to understand FaceTime and would tell the helpers “ that’s my daughter, Laura”
knowing that makes me happy.. she didn’t suffer ..
June is Alzheimer’s awareness month 💜
i just wanted to share .. talking about this has helped me with the loss. I have lost two family members in two months and in this crazy world with everything happening it’s just unbelievable... The world has changed and I can hardly watch the news now.. just makes me sick ... So many things that are so upsetting.
Taking the 3 month leave for those who know my profession was the right decision....Thank You Maria, Chris , Rox , Toshi 🙏, Brian , H ( yes I remember you Xoxox) and Tropic... you all are so kind to post for me and my mom. From the bottom of my heart, Thank You! 💜🦋💜
My Brother was making me laugh as he yells to my mom that he drew the Butterfly... this was how we could visit our mom for the last 3 months ... my brother would always try to visit with me as it was so hard to walk away from her window...Love your friends and your family .💜
Life is precious and you never know when it’s time to leave .
