6 years agoI made it a couple of years back. Didn’t look nearly as good as it tasted. Beginner’s luck. It was the first time I attempted to do it.

Comments (20)I think that photo is a bit deceptive. Notice that I did not climb up on the rock behind me - that would have been too much for me. Since I had something behind me, I felt better. We went on a much scarier hike in Sequoia National Park, attempting to go to the top of Moro Rock, but we stopped before we got to the top, even though it had stairs and a hand rail. High steep drops are what get to me, and I never climb anything that I think is too steep. I did go to the top of the Space Needle in Seattle, however. I also went to the top of Sugarloaf Mountain and the Christ Statue in Rio, and those destinations are so well protected that I did not feel as scared as I did on Moro Rock....See MoreI'll show you mine/you show me yours - W 10/27/21

Comments (27)These aren't very good pics, but wanted to share them. I bring one of my horses into the barn to feed her. When I went to turn her out this morning, I saw baby praying mantis hatching out. The egg case was on a fly mask hanging on the stall door. Comments (21)jrb451, they just sit inside one another. Once in place they don't move around. There's a watering system that starts at the top also and trickles down the entire system. You can buy different configurations/sizes also and a wheeled base to turn it. I thought I might have to go back and get that but it seems to get enough sun on all sides so no turning needed. I'm a much better baker than cook. I need exact measurements and explicit instructions for something to come out well. My specialties are apple (and peach) pies and cream cheese pound cake.

These all look sooo good! I used my pizza slice yesterday, so today I will pick a sit down restaurant meal, something I can't/won't do at home:

6 years ago- 6 years agoFresh Crab caught just down the way. Had so much we had it with fettuccine pasta the next day. I could eat fresh seafood every day all day long.
