Hmm... it reminds me a mulberry tree. Just a guess, though.

Mulberry trees can seed around a lot. They can be messy at fruiting season. Some consider them a trash tree.

Red Mulberry (Morus rubra) is the native species of Mulberry, extending from Massachussetts and southern Vermont west through the southern half of New York to southern Michigan, central Wisconsin and southeastern Minnesota; south to Iowa, southeastern Nebraska, central Kansas, western Oklahoma, and central Texas; and east to southern Florida . It does, however, hybridize with white mulberry, an introduced species that has naturalized in eastern states. Morus rubra leaves are variable in form, sometimes leaves are deeply lobed, but usually irregularly so.

If this is a native mulberry the tree could grow to 50' tall. It seldom lives past 75 years, but that still puts it in the medium lifespan category along with box elder, river birch, eastern cottonwood and black willow. Fruits can be messy, staining concrete and wood. And, while ripe fruit is edible and tasty, unripe fruit is reported to be mildly hallucinogenic. Overall, a mulberry is better planted in a wildlife preserve than a backyard.

My backyard gardens cover about 1/2 acre and at the rear of the piece of land we have a white mulberry that I wanted to grow for the birds. Mind shift, you are right on the money with the comment of irregular shaped leaves. My husband said it was probably mulberry, so I checked out the leaves, very different shape! I was warned not to get anywhere close to the house when I planted it so I will pull this one up and trash it, one is all the birds will get!!!
