Need help on deciding how many tomato stems in small space on deck

I am growing 3 indeterminate tomatoes (super sweet 100, big boy, and san marzano) in a 48" wide planter box with 18" spacing between plants.

For aesthetic reasons, being that I am on a deck, I chose to use a single stake for support and was originally planning on pruning to 1 single stem. I want to maximize productively in the small space I have, but also don't want big bushy plants taking over the deck. I am starting to think I may be able to get away with allowing a 2nd or 3rd stem to grow, but I don't want to overcrowd the area.

Let me know what you think?

(those are sugar snap peas growing in the back. I hope to have those harvested before the tomato plants get too big)

Garden is located in central Maryland
