Comments (23)That is great! In addition to the handlebar streamers don't forget one of those little baskets on the front of the little bike. A little white basket with flowers or maybe a stuffed puppy peeking out the top :D...See MoreMy pimped out potting bench
Comments (18)The potting bench is coming along very nicely!! I'm sure it will be ever evolving as treasures come & go. The photos of the dust storm are so unreal looking!! I just can't imagine! I'm going to have to show the hubby those. We talk about retiring to the Southwest when we're older.... I'm sooooo going to copy that idea of using a strawberry pot for impatiens, but I'll still probably kill them. I always do....See MorePimp my Porch!
Comments (5)Your front elevation is busy enough with all of the real and faux gables and mix of siding materials. If it were me, I'd make the columns simple vertical columns, perhaps 8" to 12" square, similar to the last (white) photo you posted. I don't think you need brick masonry base (you already have a great deal of masonry), and you certainly don't want the tapered columns from a Craftsman-style house, which yours is not. Stick with the style of house you already have and just finish it appropriately. The example in the "white" photo would be a good one to follow. Good luck on your project!...See MoreIm so happy with how my laundry/mudroom came out!!!
Comments (18)Thanks so much for the kind words. The baskets I fell in love with, wound up going to five stores to find enough of them. First was 20% off last 3 were 50% off, the others were inbetween. Oldbat2be I do smile when going in there. Will be nice this summer not being ashamed to ask guests to use the mudroom when in wet suits. I admit I'm happy with me for making curtains and a shade for first time. I've done other projects, but nothing this large. I'm happy I figured out how to hang the upper curtain. I bought $75 of supplies, all different ways for hanging it. I wound up using thumb tacs, since that curtain is stationary, had $75 credited back on my charge. Oakley most of the keys are for our gate and shed were chemicals are kept for the pool. I'm a nervous pool owner who always has the gate locked when the pool is open....See More- 4 years ago
