What’s your budget? What’s your skills for DIY? The easiest would be to switch to a range and remove the oven. Or move the oven across the aisle. That’s still doing some expensive electrical. In a 1960’house, do you even have a 200 amp service with open slots? Or are you going to need an electrical service upgrade and new panel? Galvanized pipes? They gotta go too.

Here's the layout of the floor for reference. We could potentially open up the wall behind the oven/stove to the dining room, as that's not load bearing. The wall by the fridge that is between the kitchen and living room is load bearing. I don't know if we have the budget to change that.

Budget is flexible, and we're pretty handy with DIY. I'd rather only get a contractor in if it's something really complicated or time extensive. We aren't in any hurry to get it done so we have time to save up for what we want. We do have 200 amp service (upgraded it from 150 when we bought the house).

I see two doors. I would put the appliances pretty much where they are. Since you are going to have a range oven you will have more counter top on either side.

I would think about doing floor to ceiling pantry cabinets next to the refrigerator with sliding drawers in the bottom section. Something like this:

If you don't plan to use the dinette area for seating, you could move the ovens to that wall. I get the impression you are young, but as one ages a wall oven is more convenient. If you choose the range option, that whole space could be used for pantry ROTS, or a framed, reach-in pantry. The ROTS pantry would be as houssaon posted above.

If you open the kitchen to the DR, the DW could move to the right of the sink. I continued the counter across the low window, with open space below--I see a pet food dispenser, so that could be kept in the open area. The space to the right of the ovens could be a combination of cabinet and open shelving, or all open shelving for display, since the far corner might be difficult to reach. Or, keep the KA mixer in the corner, where it would be out of the way but easy to pull out when needed.

I switched the fridge to the side closer to the DR, with extra deep counters beside it, to match the full-depth fridge box. That would be a convenient area for preparing snacks, serving, and extra prep. I didn't draw it, but you could also make the counters on the sink wall extra deep, to close some of the floor space.

One of the pics in the above link gave me another idea, which would be less permanent than a counter across the window:

When you are on this living level of the home is at least a half Bath near? Long term , have you considered some access to an outdoor space , as that is missing . Incorporating French door or slider, so later you can do a deck or whatever is best for the structure and your property might be wise to consider.
