Comments (15)My clematis, one of the few plants I have managed not to kill. The urn from dad’s ashes is right next to it. It also has a few of my mother’s ashes. My sisters and I put their ashes in the Elbow River near to where we grew up and no one wanted the leftover urn. I took it and now it sits on my front porch year round. They’re harder to find here now - I was told there was a resurgence of interest in UK for the old vintage pots, which mine are. Neighbors have commented they look like chess pieces. 6 years agolast modified: 6 years agoI don't have any flowers, but I did take my first cuttings of my lovage from the garden! :-) I'm so excited. Lovage is a perennial herb that tastes very much like celery and I use it anywhere chopped herbs are used.
The tomatoes give it a pop of colour so that will be my flower contribution.

No flowers right now just some flowering plants.
I seldom get around to doing much photographing so this being able to put much on the photo thread. Of course I get carried away Sorry about the excess.
I had to take a photograph of the bees on my maple tree and the little flowers they are after. They were going crazy for it yesterday.

6 years agolast modified: 6 years agoWhen I retired in December, a guy at work gave these to me. I received lots of flowers, but this was the easiest pic to locate.

Taken today - windy day in Seattle, WA. The flowering Cherry has been trashed by wind and rain and is still amazing. The Bamboo iris is just starting to bloom and is one of my very favorites in the garden.
