I hate integrated LED bulbs and also all of these use 3000K bulbs which are too yellow you need a fixture that use replacable LED bulbs so you can have 4000K light. I have already had clients complain about the itegrated LED fixtures thye insisited on one bulb goes out and you replace it. I do like the first one if you can find something similar with the right type bulb it would be perfect.

I am not on the side that 3k is too yellow either. 2700 k is what we all had in regular light bulbs, 4k is what they use in offices. I think 3k is just right, but if you get something with an interchangeable bulb then you can be the judge of that.

What are the dimensions of the island? Do you have a view that is straight on the island?

Sorry, by cables I meant a single light hanging by itself from a cable, so it is too lightweight to pull the cable tight. I think having a larger fixture hanging from cables would pull them straight??

Ok, with an 8ft island, if you want something hanging from a single box with three lights on it I would look at something about 48'' long, especially because what you like is very dainty, so it needs to not fade into the background too much, the dark cabinets will help that. However, lighting is the last thing you should be trying to pick. And I would wait until the cabinets and hood are up before trying to make any calls. Also, what will be hanging over the kitchen table? Lighting is far easier to establish with a more finished product to look at.
