You don't need 42" for sink cabinets. Shrink those and you will have more drawer space. You should be able to get a 3-drawer cabinet in a stock size. Bring your sconces lower.

Hands down, the second one. Aesthetically it looks much more balanced. Although I'm personally not a fan of those tall cabinets next to vanities, could you place the tall cabinet in the center?

Recessed medicine cabinets hold a lot of stuff, but you need to determine how much you need to store in the room, and make sure you have the cabinetry to accommodate it. Do you have storage in a hall closet?

My master bathroom vanity wall is about a foot longer than yours, and we set it up like the second drawing. Each vanity has a bank of small drawers on the outer edges of the vanity (just outside of the photo), and behind the mirrors are medicine cabinets. I have plenty of room for all sorts of stuff.

Thank you & I’ll remember the sconce advice. My husband drew the plans, so I could get a visual idea of my options. The 42 inch vanities are combinations, so the drawers are part of the vanities. If the sink cabinet is separated, they make a 27, 30, 33, 36 as options. Drawer banks are offered in 12, 15, & 18.

They also make a 24 sink base.

Diana, your bathroom is lovely. I also like the second design better. We have 2 good size closets in the hall just our size the master, so we do have storage. I guess my concern was hiding the stuff we use every day such as electric toothbrushes.
I had another drawing with a recessed glass tower, but this is part of the cabinet company’s kitchen line, so would have to finish outsides with panels.

Meant to drop the last design before posting Bc the space is too narrow for a double tower.

You could store the electric toothbrushes in the space below the sink. Despite my attempts at storing everything, my hubs' vanity has lots of stuff out :(

You have to be concerned about the sinks being too close together or being too close to the walls/talls.

I like the two tall cabinets. To gain more space, what if the middle cabinet was 12” with a pullout, like in a kitchen, for hairspray bottles, etc? It would separate the sinks a bit, you’d still have drawers in the tall cabinets, and it would give the sinks a few inches away from the tall sides.

So, from left to right, 18” tall, 27” sink, 12” pullout, 27” sink, 18” tall.

I like that idea & the balance look, but was concerned that the space would feel too claustrophobic. We have a 60” vanity now, with only one sink & it feels very tight.

Here's an option with 18,24,18,24,18. I wouldn't worry about having hairspray and such laying down if they don't offer deep drawers. Often shallow drawers are more useful keeping things divided up.

We had tilt-out bins usually used at a kitchen sink installed at our bathroom sinks. Works perfectly for our toothbrushes and they are also not exposed to the bathroom “air”.

Thank you for the layout design! I really like the look of the bathroom much better without the tall cabinet. My SO was pushing for the linen cabinet, but I really think this will be fine for our storage needs. I hadn’t thought about going to the wider drawer banks until the responses here, so appreciate this very much.

Lisa, I’ll look at those tilt options. I had them in the kitchen of our old house.

Thanks everyone for the advice. I ended up going with 2 of the 18” drawer banks, 2 of the 24” sink vanities, and an 18” single drawer/door cabinet that I plan to modify with pull outs for deeper storage. The cabinet style is also shown in the second picture. I’ll update again soon.

You could get less drawers but larger which I find more efficient. You could choose to have no drawers on the first row, just a plain panel like in the 2nd picture or fake drawer panel.

Well, it’s taken us months, but we finally finished the bathroom!
