My kitchen is 13'x20', and there are 7 pages of photos linked. The photos go from original to new kitchen. If you'd like any of the KD's plans, let me know. I'll scan them and add them to the photo album. One end has the working end of the kitchen, the other has the dining area. There is an 8' archway into the family room on the dining end (it used to be a 6' sliding door to the outside patio), and a 45" square window over the sink that is now just an opening into the family room - used to be a glass window overlooking a very messy patio! Here's a shot of our floor and a link to our finished kitchen to give you a few more views of our large format tile. Eventhough our kitchen is small, the tiles are 24"x24". Can you put the bar seating on the living room side of the half wall? Also, can you relocate your range? If so, then this might be a possibility. Take out the closet and replace it with a smaller cabinet pantry and put the fridge next to it. Have the microwave above the counter, on the other side...and then a wall, with another shallow (12" cabinet) on the other side, facing the back foyer. This would be for phone chargers, kitty bowls under the counter...and maybe a bookshelf or two above, for cookbooks? On the other side, take out the small windows and replace them with a larger window(s) to give you more light. Have the sink centered under the windows, with dishwasher to the left and move the range to the 'north' or top wall. This will make the range a focal point from the living room and you can have upper cabinets on each side of the window...or have shelves on the left (for dishes) and hang your pans on the right (by the range). The first sectional is 100” x100” not 7.5’ your room is only 120” wide so no to that one the orange one would be better but it depends on how you place it and IMO no better than an actual sofa for seating 2 people can’t fit on the chaise .Samr for the last one. Look at sofas instead, get that then see how much space you have you could maybe add a chair or depending on the sofa maybe 2 small chairs . Your dining table needs a min of 36” for the table and 24” all the way around for chairs so that is 7’ x 10’ That will pretty much fill your space . The easiest way to try out pieces is to cut them out of cardboard to scale and play with them in the space when you place measure the walk space then try that out in real life on your floor. IMO you need 36” walk spaces . Use graph paper for the main to scale floor plan it makes it easier to figure walk space.
