Help me choose exterior paint colors!
Comments (17)THANK YOU ALL! A few notes: **Our roof is now dark gray--we had it done after this picture was taken. I'll take another pic with the new roof if it ever stops raining...... **As much as I'd love to change out the garage doors--our budget is maxed out with new hardwood floors, roof and exterior paint job! **I've been playing with SW Color Snap on their website--I must be totally inept--cant seem to get it to work worth a darn! I'd like to see what dark trim around the windows, facia and garage door trim looks like. **A big thank you to celery girl and kathy. The Gauntlet Gray picture looks much lighter than I thought. Celery girl--can you change the trim from white to a dark gray? I've tried about 100 times--but can't seem to get it . **I have a sample quart of the Gauntlet Gray--We plan on painting a test area when the rain stops. I'll definitely look at Hardware Gray, too. **I'm pretty sure I don't want white trim, and will keep the garage doors the same color as the body of the house. Thank you all again!...See MoreHelp Choosing Paint Palette
Comments (4)Accent walls were a fad that is now thankfully over, so please don't go there. Gray walls were another awful fad that everyone slavishly followed, although they certainly have their place. I would say not in your living room, though, with the warm colors of the wood and fireplace. A creamy color would probably be the safest choice, but without knowing your style or the furniture that will be in the room it's really difficult to say. A muted light blue might be another consideration, but as stated the flooring should come first....See MoreHelp me choose a color palette!

Comments (4)Of the two colors you are considering, I think Blue Depths is a better color. A pergola, like this in white from your front door along the side of the building would look really charming. The lattice is very pretty. You could move the steps to the front door out to the front more and let the rain leader come straight down....See MoreCelery. Visualization, Rendering images
