LOL I saw a good two dozen packages of Angel Soft at the grocery store yesterday. 6-packs, i think. Expensive and limited to one, but a welcome start :-)

It is appearing here also. One local store ( not a major chain) only had packs of 6 and was charging $11.98 for them. I was so horrified I may never shop there again.

Not my photos. Nextdoor peeps posted these last week from two different Costco stores. There's a GLUT!!!! They both said the end of ALL the aisles have pallets of toilet paper!....and see how empty the stores are...? No more crowds.....

YAY for TP!

I was in a dollar store last week and they had a few packages. The grocery store is still out as of last Monday.

I saw some at walmart on Saturday. I wouldn't have been more shocked if I had seen some kind of rare beast standing there! And I didn't buy any. Got a couple of packages at the dollar store a week or so ago.

My husband went to Trader Joe's this morning - first time out of the house in 2 weeks - and got a 12-pack of tp (limit one to a customer) for $4.99. We were starting to run low, so it was a welcome purchase.

I'm glad the stores are coming back with these essential items. Maybe people can relax now and not hoard it.

I'm seeing more and more of it. The other day Target had Charmin, Angel Soft, Scott and their own brand of TP. They were pretty well stocked and no one but me was anywhere near that aisle. Our regular grocery store also has it.

Chi, I was thinking maybe things are calming down a bit, too. Still seems surreal that toilet paper would become such a coveted item.

I stopped at the dollar store two weeks ago hoping to find a few things I needed and they had a lot of different brands of toilet paper with a limit of two packages. I did get two which I really didn't need yet but got them in case things get crazy again! The grocery store I shopped at didn't have any.

Our Safeway had none last week. A friend stopped into Costco two days after I had shopped locally and said there was TP, paper towels, and - no crowd, easy to socially distance. I was there end of February and am still stocked.

My SIL went to the beach Sunday and picked up take out Easter dinner. She stopped at no-chain store there before coming home and found TP, eggs, flour. Yes, flour. I'd spoken to her oldest sister earlier that morning and knew she wanted some so the 10# bag was divided.

Not one single store in my town has TP, it's been quite the topic of discussion. I last bought a pack in February and hope it holds out long enough for stock to come here.

Someone just told me today Aldi also had quite a bit of TP.

But now you know what you can't find? Yeast! People have taken to baking bread, and no yeast can be found anywhere! I've been searching for over a week at six local stores and they're always out. Anyone else having trouble finding yeast?

Dollar Tree has tons of TP here in Ohio. Of course, it's not Charmin, but if you are out it's better than nothing.

I buy my yeast at Costco, I bake bread regularly and I love the brand that they carry. That's the only thing I need to buy soon and I hate to go and stand in line at Costco only to find out that they don't have it. I've been hearing even a couple of days ago that they don't have any.

The stores are empty of it as well, but our Bulk Barn has Fleischmann's yeast. Worse case scenario, I'll buy it there until this whole panic buying mess is over.

My walmart was fully stocked with toilet paper when I went saturday. I didnt get any. I have a decent supply since I always buy a pack when ibotta offers cash back. But still no bleach,lysol,any of the cleaners I use, and zero paper towels. Oh,no eggs either. Weird. Whose hoarding eggs? Luckily I can get fresh eggs from any number of sources, including a sister and a few truck drivers that I work with. They always have a surplus. Even now. But still...eggs? Really? Oh,no russet potatoes either. Those have been very hard to come by recently. Whose hoarding potatoes? Uncertain times bring out the strangest behavior.

I found a very small bottle of bleach at dollar general today. That will do me for a while. I only use it for one load of laundry a week.

Went to Walmart yesterday, they had a few Charmin, Scott, Angel Soft and Cottonelle but a lot of Walmart's Great Value...I got 2 Charmin, my regular brand. The aisle was almost empty...

Went to Walmart today and found Scott's TP, last week they had paper towels and the eggs I bought were frozen. I don''t know how that happen but I called Egglands Best to ask, well they are sending me a couple of refunds. I guess it was Walmarts freezer but who knows. I don't buy a lot of potatoes, I'll use the frozen potato tator tots in our convection oven they are perfect!

Jasdip and Nicole, I found some! I went to a health food store by where I live, and they had a huge bin of yeast. But shhhh!!! Don't tell anyone or they'll soon be sold out!

And Nicole, I tried the Costco link you provided, and entered my zip code. There wasn't any in a 75 mile radius from where I live.

My grandson paid $2 per roll the other day--it was the only place that had any. That is criminal!

Every week that I've been to Wal Mart for the last 4 weeks, all paper is out. Toilet, paper, napkins...I get my TP and paper towels at Costco. I hadn't bought paper towels for quite some time previous to the all this coronavirus stuff, I was trying to break my overuse of paper towels so I was trying to live without them completely, but about two weeks ago when I went to Costco they had papertowels so I went ahead and grabbed a pack..that day at Costco I scored. I found paper towels, toilet paper, water and Clorox wipes!! AND shredded mini wheats...wal marts cereal isle has been wiped out every time I've gone.

Make your sanitizer wipes by adding some rubbing alcohol to the little makeup remover cloths you can get at the dollar stores. My friend did this and they work very well. Was the egg buying Easter related or was it that everyone is baking and having breakfast at home. Mom said she went to local chain discount market and the prices of some food items were doubled or more. First time she had been out in three weeks.

I do not use many eggs and normally after 6 months I still have a few to put in the compost. Milk always becomes sour before I use the whole quart on my cereal. I decided to try powdered eggs and dry whole milk. My order came yesterday. I normally eat my eggs as omelets so not seeing separate whites and yolks is not a problem for me. It will be interesting to see what the taste is like. I remember the old dry milk with distaste but understand that the newer stuff tastes better if it is really cold.

If you make your powdered milk a day before needed, it is much better than using it the day you make it.
