Painted Living Room Wilmington Tan-Ready for Next Step
Comments (131)squirrel: I like the one with the red lampshade. I will keep these as my inspiration pictures as I continue to work on this room. You've helped immensely! kmcg: Love all those pics you posted and they have given me lots of ideas. bungalo_house: I think I need to get some more pieces to fill out the corners to make it work. Once the crown is done I can play around a bit more--as is, I move everything then the trim guy moves it all out of his way. If anyone can find me the lyre/harp table that would make my day (and not on eBay as I'm not going to pay an arm-and-a-leg for shipping on something sight unseen after my chair fiasco). You've got me working back in that direction. I think I'm just going to start calling all the antique stores in the area. BTW: anyone like this floor lamp (with a red shade) better? Comments (4)I just painted my kitchen Cilantro Cream- It's a Behr color my painter had made into SW paint. It's lovely creamy, green light, fresh. Can't find camera at the moment, but will post a pic if I can find it later. I love HD's new sample options. I went through many before picking this color :)...See MoreFeeling blue over GREEN....need help with my exterior house paint
Comments (5)Have you tried doing Dry Sage 50%? It will be the same color tone but lighter. On my house my trim was SW River Birch - a gray taupe color. I needed to paint my stucco and wanted a lighter gray and rather than going through a gazillion samples trying to find the right light gray, I did SW River Birch at 25% and it was perfect. SW should even be able to mix a BM color for you if you want to get their sample pots - they're cheaper than BM quarts!...See MoreI'm getting ready to paint.....yeah!!
Comments (3)I don't know if this will help but I've got similar colors to what you're thinking. The blue color on the bathroom ceiling and the bedroom walls are the same. Guess it's s a difference in flat and egg-shell, windows and no windows, horizontal vs vertical application. Bathroom walls are BM Lenox Tan Bedroom walls are SW Rain and ICI Light Chocolate Your home is beautiful! Monica...See Morekatinparadise
