Birth order
Comments (35)Helloooooooooooooooo! So, I'm back, and look at all the fun you've been having while I was away. I should be a 6. Honest. I should have been born a day earlier. My mother would agree - there she was, a lovely Sunday afternoon, huffin' and puffin', and my dad and the doctor with their ear to the radio, listening to an all-important soccer game, and telling her to hold on just another few minutes until the game was over. This must be why I don't care for soccer much. So I'm a 7 - all the way through the first line and a piece of the second one. But it stops where it says I'M SLOW! NO WAY! :) Mary P.S. Who, besides me, REALLY liked that Chad whatshisname lost to that nice young dutch feller on the 10,000 (speed skating)? I spend a few days looking in all the stores for a bright orange quilted sleeveless thing with "Bob won Chad lost" on the back. Couldn't find it. Bummer. Maybe I'll quilt one myself....See MoreVideo camera and voice for our wedding
Comments (2)We had our wedding videod. They put a wireless mic on me, which picked up my wife's voice adn that of the officiant. That was just for the ceremony. Although money's always an issue, I would consider having a professional outfit do the wedding video. It was suprisingly affordable compared to the photos, and they did a very good job. As for a camera (and I'm a mac guy), I would get a camera that records on MiniDV tapes. You will never worry about exceeding capacity and the tapes are a great backup so that you don't take up your entire hard drive with movie bits....See MoreCracked countertop seam during install
Comments (5)It appears they may have used too much catalyst when mixing the adhesive in the repair. Two-part adhesives shrink when they cure, that's why you overfill and abrade to flush after curing. It looks like they mixed, filled, and smoothed to flush. The adhesive cured and shrank, casting the shadows we're seeing and your probably feeling....See Morenew home, poor tile job, redoing
Comments (6)Update, work could not begin due to the builder rep forgetting the tile was laid first, then the cabinet/vanities installed. So now they need to get someone to remove my cabinet/vanity, quartz countertop, mirrors and disconnect the plumbing. Not sure I want to go through this. Not crazy about having the brand new cabinets removed then reinstalling. Even if they remove them without damage. This is a brand new house and my feeling is they need to replace the cabinets. . We’re at a standstill now not sure whether to pursue this or just live with this poorly installed rectified tile with excessively lippage. Oh did I also mention they cracked my toilet tank while disconnecting!!!! so now I’m waiting on a new toilet. Honestly, it gets worse but I will spare you the details...See Morejennwade0716
