dee_can1, please refer to the guidelines in the first post. These threads are for posting pictures we've taken, not pulled off the internet.

If you have a personal photo to post instead, that would be great.

    Thank you.

Nhbaskets post was from "Lancaster." So I think it fits here.

WOW. I DID take this photo. It's a macro using a heart cut-out for bokeh. I did this photo for a recent February Photo Challenge. I'm not sure what to say about you assuming something without asking me first. Edit, I do know what to say: Ugh. Oh and one more thing, thank you for the compliment that you think my photo came from the internet. ;)

My intent was to post here since it was from the Lancaster PD and hopefully provided a Laugh for anyone that is out on a Limb with concern or Living in denial.

Not a biggie but I do come here specifically for the photos and think one of the other threads is more appropriate. Knowing as it is Photo thread after all. Jmo

Nicole, how did my photo show up at that link? ie. I don't know what that link is. I took this photo, posted it in a private group called February Alphabet Challenge. Just not sure how it is linked there. Thank you. Just to clarify, are you saying I'm not telling the truth? Not sure how to prove this photo is mine... This is nuts.

dee-can1, my apologies. It looked so professional and then when Nicole found it elsewhere, I made an incorrect assumption. My bad. And congrats on such an interesting photo!

I'm with Jim. Do we really need the Photo Police every minute?

I will be sure to be explicit in my OP from now on and not just link to guidelines as this place is supposed to be for *photos* *we've* taken, *not* things pulled off the internet. There are other threads for funny memes or internet pics and people are always free to start their own threads.

But people come here with an expectation of what they can find and a trust that what they find is what they expect which is a sharing of personal experiences, thoughts, remembrances and creative expression. When people don't post accordingly and that trust is broken, then negative feelings and sentiments can result, which is exactly opposite of the purpose of these threads.

I truly wish people would just comply, as I really dislike having to play hall monitor and it puts me in an awkward position.

Thank you. I looked, and apparently everyone's photo here is found at that same 'hzcdn' link. I would never stick my nose in anyone's business, but I found this because I didn't know about the link previously. Until my photo was investigated by NIcole, that is. haha Obviously this is causing a bit of turmoil, and it isn't nice being accused of something you didn't do. I guess it wouldn't be so touchy for me if another poster hadn't searched out my photo.

dee yes your photo link is to right here to this site. Someone made a booboo. lol

Leaves...I think I'll post it again when we reach W as weeds. I didn't get my herb pots planted this year so the pots have filled up with volunteer grasses and weeds. I've been enjoying the low maintenance greenery, I have to say.

dee...your photo is unusually good! None on the internet match it exactly...and copying the idea is far from a steal. :0) Good job!

nhbaskets.........please keep THIS a photo thread.

There are plenty of other threads for jokes or poems/Marilyn...PM me if you want me to start a thread for YOU....please! We used to be friends. Would love to help.

Book and hearts....FLICKR IS FULL OF ARTISTS WITH GOOD IDEAS CLICK TO VIEW ONE OF MANY, See the year on it? 2018/December....an OLD idea....done many times over...

I used to have time to be an admin for several flickr groups....would rather NOT police groups. It has become a problem here lately. I really like nhbaskets quote for instance, I hit the "like" button until it was pointed out, not by me, that it's NOT a photo. It's not fair to the photographers who are posting here. I get it....

lol oh really? Yeah, policing is kind of annoying. Thanks for the link!

Technically, the image I posted was a photo I took of the my Facebook feed. Otherwise, I would not have been able to post it here.

Early when I found this group, I was called out by Nicole for a photo I posted. Don’t recall what it was as I deleted the post, but I still have the snarky DM from Nicole.

I’m with dee and a few others here. Policing is over the top. I’m done and will not be visiting this group again. There are certainly more important issues facing our country and the world today.

A photo off your facebook feed is NOT YOUR photo. Please read Annie's rules.......

No one should have to remind you to be respectful. Same thing she posted a year ago...

    Hello,
Please only post photos you have taken yourself...as in..."I'll show you MINE if you show me YOURS". You must own the photo to post in this thread.
It is cute...it would do well on the joke thread.

    Have a great day...
    Nicole
