ID 5 succulents

I got this set of 5 succulents as a gift back in 2017. These were my first succulents. The photo below of them in 2-in pots is what they looked like when I first got them. I've tried to identify them but would appreciate confirmation.

1 - Echevaria pulvinata

2 - Sedum morganianum

3 - Graptosedum

4 - Graptopetalum paraguayense

5 - Haworthiopsis coarctata

I have an additional question about #4. As I've propagated them over 2+ years, it shows two forms - (A) with shorter leaves (wide at the base, tapers at the end) and (B) with longer narrower leaves. Why is that? Even when they're grown side by side so that they're receiving the same light, they show these two different growth.

These photos below are all of #4. The first 3 photos are the same (pot) but 2nd and 3rd photos are just close-up photos. Fourth photo is one of my prop pots where I drop every leaf that fell off or was trimmed off.

I'll post photos of #3 later. That's the one that get's really etiolated.

In the top photo they appear to be labeled correctly except for #3. I'm not sure what it is, but I think graptosedum has thicker leaves.

Clickable: 2 - this is a funny little purple plant. The leaves are dry, not fleshy, but that may be because it's under-watered. It has grown very, very slowly for the few years we've had it. It has more roots than most succulents- they extend out around it in a circle for about an inch. 3 - this one started as a rosette a number of years ago but has now grown a sort of stalk, with little rosettes coming up at the base and along the stalk. I'd like to know what it is so I can figure out what to do with it- do I cut it? Repot? Leave as is? - #3 looks like it could use more light. Possible? 4 - this one has very fleshy green leaves that break off the stem easily. It has what I think might be roots coming off above the soil. It appears to be putting off some little babies at the bottom too. - I think #4 is Kalanchoe, compare to K. beharensis and K. millotii. 5 - this one is new, so I don't know what it looked like before it was this big. The leaves are very angular.

Ohhh I see Malaysia is a bit different from me When #4 was in flowering for me Sun time here at longest is about 15.75 hours buds where easy to see and nearly ready to open and did so with lesser sun light time and finished flowering 12 days later. Temps where in the 80 - 92 F range at the same sun times mentioned and the time of day mine opened was 16:00 hours to 23:00 hours For now I can say your heaviest rain season might be a bit much for #4 although the soil you have it in does look nice enough to drain fast enough. Again odd #4 Messeb like water more than most succulents but doesn't like wet roots for to long of time in days the top will rot out on you if to wet to long. Your other plants would certainly benefit with a lot less water than #4 can handle Other than a season rain over watering concern I have think you'll do very well with yours. As caution I think it would be best if you could provide a tarp or tent for some over head covering during your heavy tropical rain season over the entire garden bed. I and others here appreciate you and want to see your plants in there best of flowering later too. In all honesty it's best to tell you to talk to some of your local people with the same succulent garden passion as yours and ask them what they do.

Nice plants, but they have different care requirements so they're not good candidates to put together. Ex: Haworthias prefer indirect light to part shade, while Crassulas want as much direct sun as they can get. Personally, I'd be more concerned to get them out of that peaty looking & mix into more appropriate soil.

Thanks, Liz and socks! Yes, I repotted the cactus and yesterday was the first time it got some water, so the soil shrunk - I will definitely top up. When I was searching online I came across the Christmas tree cactus, it was a good candidate - now that Liz is mentioning it, I think it might be indeed a Austrocylindropuntia subulata monstrose. I got it from IKEA and I am not ashamed to admit it :) Seems like the plants from there last longer. I don't want to flood the forum, so I will ask the next question here - I bought an E. Perle von Nurnberg and it literally wilted OVERNIGHT. I am not kidding. I bought it, it seemed fine, brought it home, did not water it, the next morning the lower leaves were the wrinkly yellow-ish and limp sign of overwatering. I have discarded the leaves, repotted with a hefty amount of perlite in a slightly larger pot and am thinking about beheading. Never tried it yet though. Right now it is a bit wobbly, because the soil is dry and aerated, and the poor thing is like a danglyhead without its lower leaves. Would it be fine if I behead it now, or should I wait for it to get over the shock of changing homes first?

1. Looks more like Echeveria harmsii imo.

3. Possibly Echeveria atoll

Graptopetalum paraguayense can look different from plant to plant. Some have short leaves while others have longer. I think what may be happening because they’re grown in lower light your getting random growth. Some are growing more narrow leaves, while others are growing short and wide.

They’re not super etiolated, but I can tell they’re not grown in all day southern sun, or if you live on the Southern Hemisphere all day northern sun;). The more sun the more uniform leaves, this is just a thought;).

Kara, Thanks for your insight. I don't mind that the G. paraguayense don't all look the same. I was just curious. I actually like the props growing differently from each other.

Ya I think they look pretty:).

The less sun the more cool colors and the leaves are more shiny looking.

The more sun they turn warm tones with dull looking leaves.

Please note that I am in no way an expert botanist but I have been a succulent enthusiast for years and have a diverse collection of plants. This being said, I am merely offering possible alternatives for you!!😁

As for #1 I'd say e. harmsii as well. It's very difficult to tell the harmsii and pulvinata apart without blooms, but I notice that the harmsii isually have a more distinctive pointy shovel head leaf, than the pulvinata with a softer curved leaf.
#2. Sedum burrito (s. morganium typically has the pointier tail)
#3. Either e. atoll or e. Mexican snowball (could be something else entirely due to coloration at time when picture was taken, it looks a bit pale)
#4 Could be a g. vera higgins that has received little light.
#5 If not a h. coarctata, then a h. reinwardtii possibly.

It looks to me like you have 2 different graptosedums. The one with the longer leaves appears to be a darley sunshine and the short leaf a paraguayense, but if you are sure they're from the same 'mother plant' then disregard that!!
