I don't react well to the "sleeping police/men(persons)" concept, as, while they encourage drivers to come closer to following the rules re: speed limits, these things don't hand out tickets. How about "assistants to body shop staff"? By the way, I'm pretty sure that I've heard the term "rund fahrt" or similar ... wonder whether it may have referred to one of those "roundabouts" that in some areas are being built to replace stop signs and red and green traffic signal lights? ole joyful
