Bar Island cut to counter height needs new counter

I’m asking for input on counter color choice to complement perimeter counters & backsplash please!

We are having bar height island cut to counter height & likely will not be able to salvage existing granite or match it. We don’t want solid a black or white granite or marble so considering quartz but don’t want solid color of that either as we do want more “life“ & interest or texture in what will be a large flat surface broken up by a stainless deep single sink. Our thought is to pull the color from travertine in backsplash & find a muted vein pattern for island counter. We recognize the perimeter granite counter & glass backsplash are too much to add another busy element. The island back is bead board & is the same ebony color as stove hood. The existing island counter is @ 10’ 4” from outside corner to corner of bar top, counter is standard 25” depth & bar has 12” overhang but is 19” on top. We’re hoping to find a jumbo slab & not have a seam but if we have to seam those are easier to hide with less patterned surfaces we think. We’re leaning towards Cambria Quartz as American made. The 2 samples are Silestone & Caesarstone & both blend well with travertine as well as the warm white or cream. The linear glass tile in backsplash & up behind stove also has travertine in it. Am I on the right track here? Thanks!
