Should I hang this wall art??
Comments (8)If you like them and they go well in your room, you could mount them above the bed and put a larger frame around each one...look for something affordable that you could finish yourself maybe. Or use molding to create frames on the wall in which to hang them. If you don't love them, you don't want to throw good money after bad, but if you want to use them you could probably find a pretty inexpensive solution to making them look larger for your space....See MoreWhat type/color curtains should I hang here?
Comments (11)it looks very cool bare as it is unless you want to regulate light/need something for privacy-i'd skip them completely if you need them-I'd go for smth minimal like woven shades..only on the lower ones there are also transparent white cellular(I guess) blinds..that seem to dissapear) but if it;s only question of aesthetic-I'm for leaving them as they are...See MoreHow many inches above headboard should I hang art/wall decor?
Comments (6)If the headboard isn't overpowering and a statement in itself, I'd go ahead and put lightweight art above... even though I don't live in earthquake country, I'd be nervous about anything heavy up there. Agree with arcy, I wouldn't want to have anything so low as to be hitting my head on anything over the bed when sitting up in it. So a photo of the bed would be great....See MoreDecorating Idea
Comments (12)Though there’s symmetry in the space so identical treatments on each side such as shelving or cabinets always looks great, you don’t need to limit yourself to doing that. What do you want more of in this room - seating or display & strorage? I agree with @Kaya that a comfy chair, light etc would be very nice. Not all seating has to be angled towards TV. On the left side, I do think a larger picture would be better but also a larger cabinet. The cabinet & piece above it are great together but I think are too small scale next to the big stone fireplace. Maybe the cabinet could be on right side with a chair angled in front of it & a floor lamp for light? The cabinet scale would be good since it wouldn’t be alone in an open space. I’d put a larger cabinet or shelf piece on left with larger art above - and maybe a coordinating framed piece over smaller cabinet moved to right? Much of suggestion is guess since we only see the edges of room so don’t know what else is there or style of furnishings....See MoreMary Pilgard Sabat
