Has anyone bought from Carolinachair.com?
Comments (3)All of the things you say about them are true. However, the sectional sofa I bought from them is very uncomfortable. The seat cushions are thin and rock-hard. When I complained, their only solution was for me to spend MORE money on replacement cushions. They did give me some free fabric to use in new cushions I could bet made locally, but this all ended up costing a ridiculous amount of money. I could have bought a better sofa for half the price at Pottery Barn....See Morehas anyone bought a sofa from Carolina Chair?
Comments (1)Looks promising. Here's a thread from the Furniture forum. :) Here is a link that might be useful: Carolina Chair...See MoreHas anyone bought anything from Signature Hardware?
Comments (41)After reading through all these comments, I was concerned about the quality of SH. I looked up the spec sheet on the faucet I am interested in buying and it has the following certifications: cUPC ASME A11.18.1 NSF/ANS I61 NSF/ANSI 372 ICC/ANSI A117.1 This covers, among other things: lead free, safe for drinking, supply fittings. In fact, they address lead free specifically in their FAQs: " All Signature Hardware kitchen and bathroom sink faucets are compliant with lead regulations determined by the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA). This includes NSF/ANSI 61 (to meet North American drinking water standards) as well as AB1953 (to meet California drinking water standards). They are safe to use, as required by law, and undergo a rigorous testing and inspection process before being authorized for sale. We are also proud to stand behind our products with our warranty. " And their faucets have a 25 year warranty. I couldn't find anything about where they manufacture, but even if assembled here, I'm sure there are parts that come from China. You'll be hard pressed to find an all American made & assembled product of any sort. Many of the concerning posts were from years past so it looks like SH has made improvements since then. I will go ahead with my plan to purchase faucets for my kitchen reno. Fingers crossed!...See Morehas anyone bought & using Flexsteel reclining sofa/loveseat?
Comments (3)I have had a horrible experience with my Flexsteel leather living room furniture, for which I paid over $8,000. I made a complaint within the first few weeks of delivery. I have a recliner, sofa with chaise lounge, and loveseats. Initially they stated the cushions were under-stuffed. After replacing the cushions, they stated the leather is stretched from having under-stuffed cushions and the warranty team stated they would replace the leather. It has been over a month and the warranty people won’t even call me back or return my emails as they promised. The furniture store I bought it from tried and tried to get the pieces fixed, but the warranty team is just not any good. I initially requested the most stuffed option, to increase the firmness of the set. I am attaching a photo of the set after their warranty team repaired it. They were supposed to come back to replace the leather nearly two months ago, but have not returned or called me back. I requested warranty work weeks after delivery and it has been a year. We live a quiet lifestyle with a family of 3 small people, nobody in our family weighs over 160 pounds....See MoreStephanie Koutsodendris
