Junco1102 colors like apricot can be affected by the mineral make up of your soil . FYI , temps can also affect color so the plant could be apricot one day but more yellow another .This link might be of some help . You are not alone in wondering about this particular quirk in daylilies.
Thank you. I thought that might be the case. I have tried growing several different “pink” day lilies and I’m always disappointed because they are some shade of peach/apricot in my garden. They are always pretty, but not what I wanted.
Hi Junco, just checked my list of daylilies coming to my garden and Savannah Debutante is being added here. If I’m lucky to have it bloom I will post it.
