Comments (33)I've been trying to keep a catnip plant or two to alive, especially during the winter, and even bought seeds last year. Apparently I created a volunteer. Fully grown. I took cuttings from it, and when I stripped the leaves for rooting, kitties enjoyed some more. A cycle! more plants, more enjoyment. Comments (21)Inspired buy dedtired's pic of the many windows outlined in red on the building. I counted 57 there. Would you believe that there is just 2 less in this house next door to me. Yes 55, not including any windows in the outside doors. Watched those windows being installed last week. 6 years agolast modified: 6 years agoLonesome, at age 31. We had to put him down at 35 because he had cancer. His registered name was Dancing Snow Chief, a great grandson of Native Dancer, but I called him Lonesome, because he followed me everywhere. I got both him and his mother because they were going to be sold without their papers and would probably have gone to slaughter. I heard about him, contacted his owner, got their papers and bought them.

Loss. My beautiful Julietta went in her sleep at about 12:30 p.m. on 16th of February.
Sorry for anyone else who feels the stab of loss.
