Repainting BM Advance trim - what steps to take if I use Advance again

Hello,

Could use advice on repainting oak trim in a family room I painted 10 years ago with BM Advance. It was a big job to paint the oak and I did it the right way, deglossing, sanding, priming then painting with Advance in multiple coats, sanding between coats. The paint has held up great, but we are remodeling the house and repainting trim everywhere to a brighter white, including this room. What steps should I take in repainting this trim? Do I need to sand, prime, then paint again with BM Advance? Or just sand and paint? Painter for our kitchen used SW Emerald Urethane Trim Enamel - would I get good results using this paint instead? Thanks for your advice I am doing the work myself and not hiring a professional painter. I've been reading about repainting trim and wondering why it is suggested sometimes to prime again since the trim is already painted?
