There is a gold cultivar, Anne, in commercial production and is relatively widely available. Otherwise, gold colored examples of this species tend to be just of spontaneous garden origin and infrequent.
I believe Anne is ad ideas cultivar. I am looking for the wild R. occidentalis variety.. I have verified by aarticle by W. H. Blanchard vol.7 no 80 August 1905 pp. 143-146. Enola Teeter
